Eaglefest is a Charity Music festival held in Cleveleys Blackpool. The 2012 event is in aid of Blackpool Victoria Hospitals Hematology Unit & Brian House Children’s Hospice to help fight Cancer.
Eaglefest is a local music charity event for local people and local charities.
2011 was a sad year when a good friend and great guitarist and guitar teacher Phil Roberts passed away after a long battle with cancer. Eaglefest was started when one of Phils’ guitar tuition pupils said he wanted to do a performance to raise money for the people who had helped Phil. It initially started out as a small event for family and friends but grew and grew and Eaglefest was born. Eaglefest 2011 raised over £5500 and this money was donated to Christie and the Blackpool Victoria Hospital Hematology Unit.
The 2012 event will be held on June 23rd at the Golden Eagle Pub on Warren Drive.
